I'm building up the courage to write the man with a bunch of question that I have on Quantum Physics. I'll get around to it this week probably.

I like that dude, i've been paying attention to him ever since the PBS special "The Elegant Universe" aired for the first time. I haven't watched the videos that you posted yet, but I still have something to add on. Quantum physics and Vedic/Indian philosophy has opened the doors on this stuff long ago. And they are all saying the same thing - except that one side is coming from a religious/spiritual perspective, and the other is coming from a scientific perspective. but the bottom line is that everything is connected and originates from the same foundation or source. do the knowledge to the "Akashi Records", or Carl Jung's work on universal archetypes or symbols that are the same across separate cultures/peoples. basically they're saying that humans have an individual consciousness but are also a part of a Collective Consciousness (Allah/God). so during our lives we get to participate in both. one of the major problems with our thinking is that we tend to always think in terms of Singularity (I, Me, Mine), when its evident that Duality (like the symbol of TAO or yingyang) is the real function of the universe.

bruce lee said "be water my friend" - becuz water can flow or it can crash, right? thats hard and soft - duality!
water is the softest material on earth but yet over time it can wear down/erode the hardest rocks!! be water....

in the world of physics, Light acts as both particle and wave. again thats hard and soft - duality! Quantum physics is only saying that the observer has an effect on the outcome; so as you observe an experiment your mental energy has an effect on the outcome. if you observe Light and are looking for waves, then you see waves. If you're looking for particles in Light, then you will find particles. but the reality of Light is that its both.....

No, just no.

Yes it acts as a particle and a wave in specific instances.

Mental energy, lets keep metaphysics outta this please.

You wanna know something cool I saw the other day. It was about the nature of water and it being basically, uncompressable. Wait I gotta find the term.

Water's Compressibility
Water at temperatures common in nature has a compressibility factor of around 0.0000034, meaning that a hydrostatic pressure of 6.89 kilopascals (1lb/ sq. in) would reduce unit volume by about 0.0000034 of the original volume.
This compressibility of water is so slight we could never actually see it with our own unaided eyes. We might think water is not compressible. However, if that were the case then the oceans would be about 30 meters higher than they are now, and therefore cover an extra 5 million square kilometers of Earth!

Um yeah I read about it ...

Maybe you can point out where it says mental energy affects whether or not light is a particle or a wave, since, that was the only thing I pointed out as being wrong in your post. There was more wrong but I was being lazy.

well thanks for letting me know that i was wrong.... did u have anything else that you wanted to add on? any theories of your own? do you have anything to say about the subject of quatum theory at all??? or just post any of your original ideas about anything. just telling me im wrong doesn't help me...

I could, but a book on Quantum Mechanics is gonna explain more.

But I'm always gonna call out attempts to put spirituality into states of matter.

Far as the mental energy thing, maybe your thinking of spin???

Phil, I look forward to checking some of these links both you and Atom provided but I think Atom Sun's main thing is that you cite ish but aren't revealing anything.......I think, but he can speak for himself. As far as mental energy, u need to check the dvd the secret. They have a device that can gauge or measure thought frequencies fam. Thoughts ARE magnetic and some mind's are able to apply their magnetic powers more so than others, long coversation though....for the net at least

Methane on Pluto huh? Interesting, funny how I was just having a discussion with someone the other day about if cows were CREATED by man to eat and how their farting is harmful to the earth. Anyways, I'm going to check this out

http://www.nbc.com/The_Tonight_Show_with_Jay_Leno/video/episodes/#vid=948501

In regards to somethings he said about killer asteroids or meteors here's some interesting stuff that was in the AZ republic a couples weeks ago...UA GETS $3.16 MIL TO CONTINUE KILLER-ASTEROID HUNT

University of Arizona's Catalina Sky Survey has been awarded a $3.16 million NASA grant to continue protecting Earth from killer asteroids. The grant was announced by the university on Thursday and will fund the survey through 2012.
The survey tracks and identifies near-Earth objects, which are asteroids and comets that have come or are predicted to come within 130 million miles of the sun, making them a risk to hit Earth.
Scientists are looking for objects that are at least the size of 10 football fields. An object that size could disrupt the food chain because of the huge amount of soil and rock it could send into the atmosphere, which could then block the sun's rays for years.

To be honest I do contribute stuff, you and others just either ignore it or say some off the wall shit that doesn't even pertain to the discussion.

I can't connect the dots about evolution for you.

I can reference a book though,

Darwin's Ghost
The Origin of Species (Updated)
by Steve Jones
ISBN: 0-375-50103-7

Buy it, check it out at the library, steal it, something.

When ya'll make topics about science, coming off the top of your head with how you think things are really isn't a good first step.
