Explain this to me (UFC)

I was just watching the Anthony Johnson fight. He got poked in the eye like three times and the ref even warned his opponent about it. Then when he clearly got poked the last time to the point where he collapsed, how the fuck does he lose by TKO? If anything they should have deducted a point and given him a chance to recover. If the doctor said he couldn't continue then he should have won by DQ.

This seems like one of the most bullshit decisions I've ever seen. I have to give him props though because he was definitely classy about it. I know I wouldn't have been.

Amen. I have no idea how that wasn't a point deduction or a DQ. His attitude at the end in the interview was dope, though. I was heated @ that decision. I was impressed with his last UFC fight when he kicked the crap outta Tommy Speer.

If Brandon Vera is The Truth, then Anderson Silva is the absolute truth.

That very last fight though was DOPE. The two IFL dudes going @ it and the one was talking all that smack, then gets caught with a kick to the mouth and falls like a redwood tree.

Yeah that whole decision was bullshit...I don't get it. If they thought that uppercut ended the fight then they are blind because that barely even touched him. Anderson destroyed Irvin...that gash under Irvin's eye was brutal.

Vera's usually legit. The problem for him was dropping a weight class for this fight. I'm pretty sure he was feeling the aftereffects of it.

Veras fight sucked he used to put on a good show. He looked really flabby and shrunken. Silva is the shit! There are some beasts in 205. I would love to see Silva put the dogs on Lidell

Yeah Vera was disappointing. I bet he thought he could just do what he normally does and then just cut weight for the weigh-in. He's probably gotta prepare himself better next time if he really thinks he's going to win a belt.

dont get me started on the anthony johnson decision. that was by far the worst officiating i've seen in MMA. i've never seen a TKO due to a foul. you're supposed to go to the scorecards if the fouled fighter cannot continue...or the fouling fighter gets DQ'd

silva is impressive. but i cannot believe the raw energy and velocity fedor emits...its crazy.
